Seeking experienced mental health nurse interested in Clinical Nurse Educator position in the Mental Health Entry to Practice unit supporting transition nurses across Orygen Youth Health Clinical Programs:
Royal Melbourne Hospital Royal Park Campus and clinical settings across Orygen Youth Health Services- The Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services are recruiting an experienced mental health nurse with an interest in working in mental health nursing education to develop and support registered and enrolled nurses who are commencing their mental health career. The clinical nurse educator will be provide support to transition to practice nurses at Orygen Youth Health clinical settings.
Your New team
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to join the RMH (MHS) Mental Health Nursing Entry to Practice Team. This is a really interesting and diverse role that requires expertise and experience across the domains of clinical and education.
- You will support the clinical development of enrolled and registered nurses undertaking the nurse transition program across Orygen Youth Health as well as contributing to the educational needs of this cohort. You will be joining an established team to provide support to nurses that are beginning their career as a mental health nurse. The aim of the role is to support the nurse's transition to mental health and skill acquisitionas they develop as a specialist mental health nurse. The nurse transition programs provides participants with a comprehensive orientation and professional development that will equip the nurse for an ongoing career in mental health services.
