The main responsibility is to take customers' food when it has been prepared for the customers, to set tables and clear and clean tables, and reset them when a table has finished.

A runner will polish cutlery and glasses. wipe down chairs and other cleaning tasks necessary, ensuring customer service expectations are met.

A runner must exhibit:
- a passion and flair for exceeding customer expectations
- hold a current RSA license
- possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- available to work nights and weekends

A runner must be a multi-task individual with the ability to priorities activities.

A runner is accountable for monitoring the quality of food, ensuring that the food is delivered correctly and efficiently.
