Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.


Your Opportunity:


This position is accredited for 6 months non-core advanced training in general paediatrics with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.


  • This is a seconded education role 0.5 FTE with the University of Queensland (UQ) for an Advanced Trainee in General Paediatrics.
  • The position of Paediatric Registrar (in the role of Paediatric Advanced Trainee Fellow) will:
  • Work as an active member of the University of Queensland
  • Children's Health Queensland Clinical Unit (CHQ-CU) under the direction of the Clinical Unit Head and as detailed below. A specific focus of this role is to support the UQ CHQ-CU in the transitional phase from the current to the new MD program.
  • You will fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with the CHQ HHS core values and as outlined below.
