Volvo Group Australia HQ, Wacol has a unique opportunity for a Digital Brand Manager in the Brand, Marketing and Communications team.

The primary objectives of the role are to lead the digital marketing and social media strategy including optimisation of the digital touchpoints for Volvo Group Australia and the Group's brands (Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks) to:

  • drive an increased familiarity and consideration of the total offerings and campaigns
- generate enquiries to dealerships and;
- gain insights into customer's online behaviors.


The role also has a strong focus on developing reporting mechanisms and analytics for all brands using internal and external data to improve marketing efficiencies.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage digital marketing and social media strategy for the Group's brands
  • Manage the Group's social media promotional digital buy and liaising with stakeholders such as Brand Managers and Media providers
  • Drive and develop the Group's work in Lead Generation Platform based on the insights found through continuous research into the Customer Journey & Customer Purchase funnel
  • Measure and communicate monthly digital promotion results (website, campaign performance, social media, media monitoring and AdWords)
  • Manage the Group's social media platforms and develop existing and new platforms as they become available.

Who are you?

In this role, you will bring:

  • At least five years' experience working in marketing or communications or a related field.
  • Formal marketing qualifications (tertiary level)
  • Extensive background in marketing and communication, social media and graphic design
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt content to adequately suit the tone of voice of the brands and also the platform its being used on
  • Desirable skills (highly regarded but not a requirement): Hootsuite, social media reporting tools, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Wordpress, Photoshop for digital content creation
  • Strong analytic skills and experience drawing conclusions from multiple complex sources
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects to meet competing deadlines.
  • Welldeveloped decisionmaking and creative problem solving skills.
  • Strong commitment and drive to take initiative, improve and deliver
