About the role
The Commercial Analyst plays a critical role in contributing to driving improved performance across the Grill'd business.

Working as part of the Commercial Insights & Planning team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing insightful business analytics to the wider business as well as contributing to the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting and performance planning.
  • Developing, maintaining, and distributing targeted business reports and financial models as required to provide actionable insights across all areas of the P&L around products, channels, marketing campaigns and business initiatives
  • Partnering with various departments assisting with problem solving, commercial modelling, and providing databased insights to help drive performance.
  • Monitoring Restaurant P&Ls monthly and provide meaningful analysis and commentary on results against Budget/Forecast and highlight drivers of performance, opportunities, risk & implications.
  • Contributing to a continuous improvement culture in Finance to automate processes and provide support to Restaurant State Managers, Department heads and the Executive team

Who we're looking for:

You'll also have:

  • Ideally you will come from an advisory, management consulting or professional services background with approximately 4 years' experience and maybe looking to make your first move into industry
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and be able to tell a story with data
  • Experience with a BI tool (we use Power BI) and experience with SQL/Snowflake is a bonus
  • Hands on experience building and presenting complex financial models
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • A solution focussed mindset
