A highly regarded Luxury home builder is looking for an experienced Estimator to join the business and Estimate projects ranging between $2M- $10M

You will be reporting into the Director and Senior Project Manager of the business who is always on hand to support you. Each site has a Full time and experienced Site Manager and reliable trades.

THE ROLE:

  • Involvement in the full life-cycle of multiple projects $2M - $10M
  • Cost analysis, reporting and forecasting
  • Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs), variations and documentation
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders
  • Issue Variation Orders to tenders
  • Maintain accurate and detailed estimating information within the systems
  • Manage sub-contracts & supply agreements
  • Liaise with sub-contractors
  • Ordering materials and equipment
  • Assess and process progress claims
  • Support the project manager\director
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • 3 + years experience as an Estimator within the high-end residential space is a MUST
  • Experience working on projects between $2M - $10M
  • Experience in detail-orientated projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Comprehensive understanding of NSW residential building codes and guidelines
  • Proven experience of effectively manage a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
  • Proficient in using procure and cubit
