Job Description:


As an active member of the Executive Team and a trusted advisor to the CEO, this role will shape corporate strategy and provide financial and commercial advice to inform investment decision making.

It will also ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for all Tattarang entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance team.
  • Advising on the financial and treasury implications of investment opportunities and decisions.
  • Managing relationships with banks and other funders across the capital structure.
  • Managing financial risks such as interest rates, FX and investment of surplus funds.
  • Oversight of finance systems and policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Building strong relationships with the broader team, Board, and Founders

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Formal qualifications (AASA/ACA/CA/CPA or equivalent)
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • High calibre finance executive with a strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
  • 15 years practical experience in addition to tertiary qualifications.
  • Valuesbased leader with a collaborative leadership style, team player.
  • Track record in delivering commercial outcomes in an investing environment, preferably in investment banking or private equity.
  • Excellent understanding of banking and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, reporting and control.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and owning enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Proven success in building and managing high performing teams.
  • Calm under pressure, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior executives and Boards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
