Research Integrity Coordinator

The Opportunity


Working closely with the Research Integrity Manager, the team takes carriage of all research integrity matters across the university, including communication, education and facilitation of investigations.

The position works across multiple teams in a collaborative manner, and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the investigation and resolution of any complaints and concerns relating to potential breaches of the Code as articulated in the University's Research Integrity Complaints Procedure.
  • Develop and deliver training and support tools, including workshops, resources, and online training modules, to ensure awareness of, and compliance with, the University's Responsible Conduct of Research Framework.
  • Support the development, implementation and compliance monitoring of policies and procedures based on the requirements of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (the Code).
  • Prepare agenda papers, reports or briefs communicating key research integrity matters to senior managements and committees, as required.

Your Application

  • Completion of a degree level qualification in a relevant area with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive and complex matters in an empathetic manner.
  • The ability to investigate complex complaints or concerns without bias or preconceived notions, and to ensure that all relevant facts are examine and evaluated impartially.
  • Proven ability to work successfully with a high degree of autonomy within broad guidelines, including setting goals, developing priorities, meeting deadlines and identifying process improvements.

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $119,949 comprising base salary within the range of $93,273 to $102,521 plus 17% superannuation.
