Operations Supervisor
Due to company growth an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Supervisor. Cold storage facility with state-of-the-art systems. Above market salary.

About the Role:

An exciting career opportunity exists with our client, a nationally recognised retailer located at Eastern Creek.

Due to internal promotion and operational growth, we are seeking leaders with operational experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.


Reporting to the Manager on shift you will have responsibility for up to 30 team members at any one time.

Rotating roster
**1pm

  • 9pm **Roster cycle Tuesday to Saturday

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead, manage and motivate team members to achieve KPI's
  • Conduct toolbox meetings on WHS and other important topics as required
  • Conduct one on one performance meetings with team members
  • Manage absenteeism and performance management
  • Recognising opportunities for learning and development
  • Organising and distributing workload to maximise efficiency
  • Managing all aspects of delivery to deadlines
  • Ensuring compliance of policies and procedures
  • Implementing processes to improve the business and team
  • Ensuring all work health and safety requirements are being followed and met

To be successful for the role, you will need to have the following:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Supervisory role
  • Experience managing a large team in a fastpaced environment
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends
  • Results driven proven capability
  • Knowledge of cost implications of different resource management decisions
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Experience working with WMS is preferred but not essential
