The Risk & Control Advisory Manager (Risk Profiles) is responsible for ensuring that the CCO Risk Profile completely and accurately represents the risk and control environment across CCO and provide oversight over the effective management of the RBS Business Unit risk profiles.
In any given week you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the design and implementation / support the business to design and implement controls and develop process maps to enable better risk and compliance outcomes
- Supporting RBS to test controls enabling better risk and compliance outcomes.
- Responsible for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the CCO Risk Profile (RCSA) and update when risk trigger events occur
- Responsible for the effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations, and support the business through the implementation
- Responsible for data quality in various databases (including RiskInSite) across the CCO and RBS BU/SU risk profiles and monthly management reporting
- Perform regular reviews to assess the integrity of the RBS BU/SU risk profiles and provide insights to senior leaders into areas where uplift is required

- Ability to analyse/identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions
- Control testing experience is desirable
- Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks
- Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems
- Knowledge and awareness of Data Management including core principles/ activities under DMI would be advantageous
