Job Description:


This is an opportunity to support the development and execution of the community & marketing strategy across a large portfolio of neighbourhood shopping centres, with a strong focus on community engagement and driving local partnerships.


You will assist the Portfolio Community & Marketing Manager to drive sales, foot traffic and community outcomes at each centre and support the implementation of tactical campaigns, digital initiatives, and promotional events in addition to being responsible for all marketing administration.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify, build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders in each trade area to drive community engagement and partnership value, and be actively involved in community events on behalf of the centres when required.
  • Assist with various monthly reporting requirements including retailer sales analysis, budget reconciliation, community reporting and marketing return on investment.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of communications including customer communications, retailer newsletters, media releases, team briefs and creative briefs.
  • Coordinate the distribution and installation of all centre marketing material with centre teams and suppliers, ensuring all in centre signage is relevant and accurate.
  • Create and manage the content for the digital and social media platforms to support centre initiatives, retailers and community organisations.
  • Be responsible for marketing administration including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, running reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar support role within local area or retail marketing, community engagement or events management.
  • High attention to detail coupled with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • A motivated selfstarter with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel between centres within the Newcastle and Central Coast region.
