About the role


Reporting to the Production Manager, with a dotted line to the Global Training Manager you will be responsible for all training at the Brisbane production facility and the participation, preparation, review and delivery of Training Courses and its related materials, to internal and external resources.

These include production line staff, FQC, EOL, warehouse and pre-production employees in relation to the best performance of our manufacturing process of Tritium.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver Health Safety and training inductions for all new starters
  • Deliver induction programs for all new employees
  • Deliver condensed company induction programs for all casual (agency employed) employees
  • Deliver process and competencies training (including dexterity training) for the production process against all employee classifications
  • Maintain competency and training records for all production employees and agency employees
  • Key point of contact for training initiatives and enquiries for Production staff in the Brisbane facility
  • Design, develop, and maintain effective instructorled and webbased training solutions based on learning requirements, business and technology changes, and adult learning principles
  • Design and development of handson training stations for use in interactive interviews and onboarding, using a variety of approaches
  • Work with the Production Team to understand the areas of training that need to be developed, improved, given to secure the readiness to fulfil the necessary trainings
  • Deliver engaging training sessions that ensure that learning objectives are met for participants
  • Capability to deliver additional training as needed

About you

You'll require the following skills and experience:

  • TAE 40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment (or TAE 40110 with required upgrades)
  • 3 5 years' Training Experience including training delivery and instructional design for classroom and digital learning.
  • Excellent facilitation, listening, coaching, training and presentation skills
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Problemsolving skills, Prioritization and Effective Time Management
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Clear and confident communicator and strong language skills with the ability to explain technical scenarios in a way that is easily understood by users of all levels
  • Proven ability to follow up and ensure tasks move to completion with great customer satisfaction
  • Selfstarter, willing to work in the fastpaced manufacturing environment
  • Be able to sustain long periods standing to deliver training
  • Desirable : Moodle experience, and prior experience in writing training content ideally in an electronics engineering or technical discipline.
