Who we are looking for:

  • Team performs a centralized first line of defense function evaluating SWIFT messages. Sanctions Screening Monitors are crucial members in risk excellence initiatives, identifying and escalating transactions involving parties subject to economic sanctions or other regulatory restrictions.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Analyze and review transactions on a case by case basis
  • Identify, escalate, and/or report unusual transaction activity
  • Ensure all transactions are actioned by deadlines
  • Participate in self-testing and audit requirements
  • Respond promptly to client queries
  • Contribute to training and on-boarding
  • Perform all duties in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines

What we value:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Advanced PC skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • SWIFT experience preferable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and ensure accuracy
