The Company:

Job Purpose:


Supervision and delivery of technical support for Mining Technology Solutions (MTS) products and OEM installed software in a timely and quality assured manner.


Supervise the software services team to engage and lead the customers to enhance value of our systems to their operations and ensure the relationship is long term and mutually beneficial.


Travel Requirements:

Up to 15%

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and manage the software services team to optimise the skillsets to meet current and future business needs whilst focusing on the employee's career development.
  • Supervise the delivery of technical support, product knowledge expertise and facilitate problem solving for the software services team.
  • Ensure customer issues/tickets are completed and resolved within the given timeframes as per agreements.
  • Follow through customer issues/tickets which cannot be resolved locally are escalated through the right channels to ensure effective resolution to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Managing, building, and maintaining long term customer relationships.
  • Collaborates and communicates across business units within MTS to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Reinforce awareness and demonstrate commitment that safety is our top priority and "zero accidents" is achievable.

Required Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field.
  • Previous experience in leading and mentoring a customer support team.
  • Ability to build, maintain and grow relationships with internal and external client groups.
