Veterinary Practice Manager Position at Flemington Vet Hospital

Are you ready to join the team at Flemington Vet Hospital as a Full-Time or Part-Time Veterinary Practice Manager? This is a great opportunity to cover maternity leave until March 2025 at a top-notch clinic located just 5kms from the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People and Operational Leadership:
    • Lead the Clinic Team in alignment with core values, fostering a culture of accountability and empathy.
    • Manage recruitment processes to build a strong team.
    • Sustain a safe work environment following health & safety protocols.
  • Clinic Performance and Driving Sustainability:
    • Engage in clinic budgeting and strategic planning in collaboration with senior management.
    • Make balanced decisions considering both clinical and commercial aspects.
  • Client Experience:
    • Promote a customer-focused approach throughout the clinic.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and veterinarians on all matters.

Who You Are:

  • Prior experience in veterinary practice management preferred, but open to candidates with diverse backgrounds.
  • Nursing experience is a plus; readiness to advance your career is valued.
  • Commitment to delivering top-notch patient care and customer service.
  • Strong computer skills, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Passion for animals and their well-being.
