Lead Technician to join our metro operations team.


Reporting to the Technology Supervisor, the Lead
Technician is responsible for leading multi-skilled technicians across installation, commissioning, and calibration of technology system products to Caterpillar and/or OEM Equipment.

Promote and embed a positive safety culture, providing technical support, facilitate customer inspections, and Quality Assurance (QA) activities of works completed.


You will be providing high levels of customer service for both internal and external clients, enabling WesTrac to achieve customer satisfaction goals, overall relationship development and dealership growth.


Location:
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Perth at our Technology workshop, Perth Airport.

Roster: 5/2, 10.5hr days - Dayshift only

To be successful the following is required:

  • Promote and lead safe and positive work culture
  • Confidence to provide standardsbased quality workmanship across hardware, electrical and mechanical works
  • Skills to complete technical and administrative documentation to a high standard
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Work order management (task allocations, timesheet approvals, SOW/BOM reviews)
  • Coaching and mentoring technicians of all experience levels
  • Leadership and management skills
  • An ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical specifications
  • Prior experience utilising technology products or similar Fleet Management Systems
