As an Operations Expert at Courtyard by Marriott, you play a crucial role in creating a remarkable and unparalleled experience for our guests. You take the lead in delivering a diverse range of services during all guest interactions, covering Front Office & Food & Beverage assistance.
Position Summary:
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries, delivering exceptional service to seasoned travelers
- Foster long-term, value-driven customer relationships to support guests in pursuing their passions
- Assist the front office team with various operational duties
- Manage guest reservations, cash transactions, and credit card responsibilities
- Become an expert on the hotel and its surroundings to exceed guest expectations
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for sales and cash transactions
- Process diverse payment methods
- Address guest needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day
- Participate in food presentation and service
About You:
- Familiarity with OPERA property management system or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar position
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Driven to advance your career
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment
- Resourceful with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Holds an up-to-date RSA certificate and Food Safety Certifications
- Passionate about guest service with a proactive approach
