We are searching for someone ready for the next challenge in commercial insurance. A seasoned professional, preferably with claims expertise but also open to individuals with relevant backgrounds in legal, underwriting, recoveries or customer relations, who are looking to enhance their coaching and mentoring skills. This role aims to advance careers in technical claims management towards senior claims portfolio management or technical specialization. Emphasis will be on navigating complex claims scenarios within casualty and specialty lines.

You will collaborate closely with the broader technical community to establish frameworks and practices that enhance claims outcomes for customers. This will involve fostering the growth and development of claims officers, from newcomers to specialized claims portfolio managers.

Although the initial role is for 12 months, top performers will have internal visibility for potential permanent opportunities before they become publicly advertised.What you'll do
  • Onboarding, structured and adhoc training, and change delivery
  • Support Team Leaders in assessing capabilities and developing plans for team members
  • Optimize business processes
  • Provide support to Technical Specialists and technical mentoring programs to enhance technical decision-making
  • Enhance the quality review process to better manage risks
  • Develop relevant technical frameworks for long-term effectiveness
  • Utilize business intelligence, claims customer data, and subject matter expertise to drive operational improvements and enhance customer and broker experiences
