As the Pathology Assistant (Haemtology), you will contribute to the PAH Haematology laboratory team by working co-operatively and communicating effectively with the team and with clients, both internal and external to the laboratory to ensure the provision of optimum patient care and service delivery.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in or the ability to rapidly learn preanalytical and postanalytical clinical laboratory tasks.
- Demonstrated initiative, highly developed communication skills, and a commitment to personal and organisational excellence
- Demonstrated high level skills, or the ability to rapidly acquire high level skills, in the use of the laboratory information system (AUSLAB) and the quality management system QIS
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to quality and service improvement activities in accordance with National Association of Testing Authority/International Standardisation Organisation (NATA/ISO) accreditation / certification.
