The Role
We currently have an opportunity to join our Line 2 Risk function as a Monitoring and Oversight Analyst. This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.


This role supports the Head of Monitoring and Oversight to provide Line 2 Risk controls testing, assurance reviews, continuous monitoring, quarterly reporting, oversight and challenge across MLC Life Insurance so that the company can effectively manage operational risks and compliance obligations.


This role will support the Head of Monitoring and Oversight in delivering the key deep dive thematic reviews and controls testing on the annual assurance plan.


About You
You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Controls testing or assurance experience is desirable within financial services, professional services or within life insurance.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work proactively/autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and managing conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
