If you are an experienced Senior 2D Illustrator with a solid track record in the industry, we want to hear from you. This role involves hands-on creation of high-quality illustrations that meet project requirements and deadlines, collaborating within a team setting to achieve top-notch game development outcomes. Prior gaming industry knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should have contributed to the success of various commercial products in related sectors such as console games, online platforms, or mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Art Director and team members to ensure project success.
  • Create visually captivating 2D illustrations following brand guidelines and project specifications.
  • Stay updated on design trends and techniques.
  • Provide guidance to junior illustrators for delivering high-quality work.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with exceptional results.
  • Enhance and refine illustration skills to stay competitive in the industry.
  • Produce innovative and top-notch illustrations under the guidance of the Art Director.
  • Maintain organization of files and adhere to asset creation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a 2D Illustrator, preferably in a creative studio.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard illustration software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, ZBrush.
  • Strong drawing skills and ability to visualize abstract concepts.
  • Diverse portfolio showcasing various 2D illustration styles.
  • Thorough understanding of color theory, composition, and storytelling through visuals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting ideas effectively.
  • Attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Design focus on user experience.

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other core applications.
  • Strong PC/Mac skills.

Communication Skills

  • Effective communication at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
