Barwon Health, based in Geelong, Victoria, is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing the full spectrum from primary care, community services, aged care, rehabilitation, mental health, emergency and acute care and employing over 9,000 staff.

Barwon Health is a major teaching hospital for the Deakin Medical School and has an active and growing research base.

Cardiac Services in Bellerine Centre 5 and is a 34-bed combined cardiology and cardiothoracic unit which consists of six coronary care, 18 cardiology and 10 cardiothoracic beds.

The cardiology service operates a 24hr emergency STEMI service, along with the complete range of diagnostic, medical and interventional cardiology.


About the role
We are seeking a suitable Patient Services Assistant (PS25) to fill this permanent part-time position in Bellerine Centre 5.

As the successful applicant you will work as part of a team in the provision of patient care, assisting nursing staff in the areas of patient welfare, comfort, hygiene and transport.

You will be responsible to the Nurse Unit Manager for the general cleanliness of patient and ward areas. Suitable applicants must have the appropriate PSA qualifications and experience in the acute setting is preferred.
