GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed (GNG) engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry.
We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our growing office team based in our Ascot office. This role will be responsible for assessing products, services and suppliers in accordance with company requirements and policy.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Raising purchase orders in a timely matter as per project requirements
- Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased
- Record and maintain a filing system for all receipts pertaining to vendors, materials and services
- Assist the team in administering the procurement contracts
- Maintaining and updating vendor/supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers professionally, ethically and efficiently
- Manage procurement and expediting processes in accordance with GRES procedures
- Liaise with broader procurement team to manage and maintain vendor and equipment pricing databases
- Provide feedback on potential areas of improvement within the company procurement system
- Identify and report any logistics problems including delays to the Project Manager together with the necessary expediting actions
Skills/Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role in the engineering or construction industries
- Proficient with computerised procurement/logistics systems
- Knowledge of international and local procurement best practices, tendering, contract laws and regulations, freight laws and regulations
- Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Initiative, selfmotivation and the ability to work without supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Microsoft office suite
Desirable:
- Tertiary Qualifications in procurement or related discipline
- Experience in Greentree
