Our Opportunity
NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation have an amazing opportunity for a CNC Beamline Operator to join our team. This position is a full-time opportunity based in Narellan, NSW.

Your daily duties include, however, are not limited to;

• Taking responsibility for setting up and running different machines in the beamline workgroup.
• Review factory orders and drawings, load/unload products and complete any other tasks necessary to start new projects.
• Using Multi-Press for straightening operations and plasma/flamecut operations for holes and notches.
• Calculating and coding machine controlling criteria, such as axis movement, type and size of cutting/ drilling tools, spindle location and machining starts.

The Right Person

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications with proven supervisory experience.
• 2+ years' experience in CNC Machine operation, programming or similar.
• Previous experience with a combination of CNC Beamline, manual cutoff saws and manual or automatic bandsaws.
• Organisational and time management skills
