To proactively develop skills and knowledge requires to excel in your particular trade through completing on-the-job training and formal training with a registered training organisation.

Under guidance, assist with and participate in the repair, maintenance and installation of rollingstock equipment and components in accordance with business needs. Maintain records relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems. Participate in the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit if assuring and continuously improving quality.

Here's just some of what you could be working on:

The $764.3 million European Train Control System rollout. Three new Gold Coast line stations, as well as $2.6 billion Gold Coast Faster Rail Project- track Duplication. The $360 million Park n Ride upgrade program. The $7.1 billion Ormeau Stabling and Maintenance Facility project. The 65 New Next Generation Rolling Stock (Trains) built in Maryborough.
