About the Opportunity

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for precision in forecasting? Do you excel in driving best-in-class outcomes through strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration? Metcash is seeking a dynamic Demand Forecasting Manager to lead our team in achieving unparalleled forecast accuracy and operational excellence in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

In this Role

  • Enhance forecasting best practices for Metcash Food and Campbells, guiding the team to achieve benchmark standards
  • Set and achieve team forecasting metrics aligned with service and inventory goals, and manage improvement forums with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with merchandise, customer, and retail supply teams to integrate insights into forecasts, and act as the liaison for IT enhancements.
  • Manage long-term forecast timelines, drive top-tier seasonal forecasting, and oversee the forecast review calendar for timely updates.
  • Own the consensus forecast process between Metcash and Retailers, as well as Metcash and suppliers.

You're Likely a Match If you have

  • Proven experience leading forecast analysts and demand planners.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a knack for innovative, 'outside the box' solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities across various geographic locations.
  • Excellent presentation skills and superior organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in FMCG and managing complex supply chains.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders.
