About your new role


We have an incredible opportunity for an energetic and engaging Production Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility based in Moorabbin.

This role is made for someone who enjoys leading, nurturing and developing people and who thrives on having overall operational responsibility for the 24/7 Operation of our PET Production Lines, helping to optimise the manufacturing output and achieve the highest quality and efficiency outcomes.

What you will be doing

  • Setting the benchmark standard by role modelling health and safety behaviour with the team, leading a preventative and proactive safety culture and ensuring employees and contractors adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Continually developing the team to drive performance and engagement
  • Improve and embed operational excellence through effective site routines, with a huge focus on data driven decisions, leading continuous improvement of processes, productivity and efficiency across the production lines.
  • Manage production line performance budget (labour, productivity, yields, asset care) and achieve highest quality and efficiency outcomes to deliver product at the optimal cost.
  • Participate in workforce planning, recruitment and selection and capability development to attract, develop and retain capability and talent.

  • Demonstrated experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Coaching expertise together with compassionate leadership and effective influencing skills to help drive improvement and growth in your team
  • Track record of costmanagement and manufacturing best practices, with drive for superior results
  • Proven ability to influence and be an effective communicator and facilitator
  • Ability to think critically in complex situations, deal with ambiguity and think laterally to problem solve
  • Strong Knowledge and technical expertise in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Manufacturing or Science is highly desirable but not essential
