DOGUE Bondi is seeking a talented and passionate, Dog Washer/Dryer and Retail/Daycare Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis with opprotunity for full time in the near future

A day in the role...
In this role, you will be responsible for the client retail experience, as well as booking and greeting grooming and play time customers

Duties include:

  • Greeting our clients, both two and fourlegged
  • Handling enquiries, bookings and confirming appointments
  • Achieving retail sales targets
  • Open and closing the boutique on occasions
  • Processing payments and balancing the till
  • Exceed customer expectations and ensure customer delight
  • Take pride in product displays and store presence
  • Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
  • Providing canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities
  • Provide efficicient washing and drying services for the groomers
  • Creating and distributing media content for our dog owners through videos and photos

About you
You take pride in providing clients with an incredible experience. You are highly organised, willing and able to multitask and manage clients with respect at all times.

We are looking for someone with:

  • An eagerness to develop your skills further
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in all circumstances
  • A genuine passion for dogs
  • An ability to multi task and be efficient in completing tasks
  • Previous retail, salon coordinator or grooming salon experience is beneficial
  • Pet experience/knowledge is essential
