This role reports to the Head of Digital Products.

Key Accountabilities:

The Digital Product Manager has end-to-end responsibility for building, launching and managing app and online banking experiences that deliver on our strategic priorities and outcomes. Deliverables will include:

  • Lead ubank's service proposition through the day-to-day delivery of great, reliable and consistent experiences
  • Deliver a market leading app and online banking experience that supports ubank brand positioning and growth aspirations
  • Act as the Product Owner for the ubank app and online banking experiences, working closely with deliver teams to define, design, build, test and release new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain the product backlog, prioritising features and enhancements that align with the strategy and needs of all business units
  • Ensure features are ready for development and can be executed to time, cost, quality and strategy
  • Ensure all legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks are met
  • Lead the delivery of changes to customers on a regular basis, working closely with key business areas to ensure operational readiness
  • Manage day to day app operations including managing complaints, feedback and incidents
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative customer data combined with expert opinion to make timely decisions
  • Lead and mentor other team members in the Digital Products team

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Product Owner
  • Understanding of agile tools and processes
  • Working experience of a fast-paced agile development processes
  • Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, Google Analytics
  • A problem-solving and collaboration skillset
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • You have a deep understanding of the customer and understand customer success equals ubank success
  • You can effectively manage change, and assess the impact of change on requirements and impact on delivery
  • You value team success over individual success, and meeting customers' needs is at the core of what drives you
