The Opportunity:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and motivated payroll professional to come and join our team on a part-time basis. We offer a flexible working environment and the opportunity to expand the remit for the right candidate .

Your role will include the following:

• End-to-end payroll processing for 100+ employees using Unipay
• Process deductions and allowances
• Interpretation of all relevant awards and entitlements
• Calculations of payroll tax, superannuation and work cover
• Record keeping and data management including employee details, leave accruals and working hours
• Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Manage payroll inboxes and queries, including issue resolution
• Exposure to single touch payroll, payroll tax compliance and workcover

What you bring:

• Previous experience using Unipay is essential
• Exposure to Xero desirable but not essential
• Effective time management & organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team environment
