About the role
***We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team on a permanent full time basis, for 35 hours per week.

About you
***Along with your proven experience in providing quality customer service in a similar complex environment, your friendly nature, willingness to perform as part of a team and strong communication skills will ensure your success in this role

Proven experience in the delivery of customer service in complex customer environments

Excellent written and oral communication skills in dealing with customer contact situations

Proven call centre experience

Proven experience in customer request Management Systems

Proven experience in navigating internet based systems to gather relevant information in a timely manner

Proven experience in conflict resolution, decision making and problem solving

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and various databases

Excellent attention to detail, accurate data entry and keyboard skills

A high level of flexibility/adaptability and initiative to handle multiple diverse tasks and work as a team player with a customer focus

Desirable Criteria

Front counter experience, cash handling and security awareness

Ability to effectively organise and prioritise workloads

Experience in the Authority Property System, CRM, HPE Content Manager, GIS and Outlook

Experience in Local Government and a good understanding of local government policies and practices
