What this job involves

JLL has an opportunity for an astute and talented building and facilities professional to join one of our outstanding WA portfolio teams. Based in Perth's inner east of Perth's CBD, your role is to proactively manage the day-to-day activities to ensure that the building is operating satisfactorily, with maintenance and deliveries being performed with minimal disruptions to the tenants.

The priority at all times should be:

  • Prioritising and ensuring the health, safety, and security of all staff members, visitors, and occupants within the premises.
  • Overseeing the performance of maintenance contractors and ensuring the effective execution of both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Upholding the presentation and aesthetics of the property through proactive management and coordination of cleaning, landscaping, and general upkeep.
  • Offering valuable support to the Operational Risk & Compliance Management team, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and protocols.
  • In line with State Government Guidelines, strategically procuring supplier services and contract agreements, ensuring optimal value, quality, and compliance in all procurement activities.

You will have a demonstrated background in building operations, either from a trade or facilities background and have a proactive and positive approach to their career. Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with excellent reporting abilities. Some trade qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical are preferred, coupled with a good level of financial aptitude and computer literacy
