The Brand |

This ecommerce fashion success story is searching for a Production Assistant to join their Marrickville based team. Designed for the women who loves fashion and knows that trend is driven through social media, this brand is designed inhouse and takes inspiration from the latest runway trends and street styles globally. With three in-house brands that are stocked by Wholesale accounts, independents and eCommerce majors across Australia and the US.

The Role |

You will work closely with the Head of Production to ensure timely delivery of collections. Coordinate pre and post shipment operational activities. Monitor and report on current or potential changes to shipping. Preparation of sales and shipping documentation. Support the Sales team with order entries Support in the management of mass production purchase orders end to end. Work closely with the production team to facilitate the smooth operation of all production activities. Provide support as needed to ensure deadlines are met and objectives are achieved. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Help maintain and update production schedules, tracking deadlines and milestones. Support in the development of products in the range to ensure they are viable for production. Reviewing and approving Production Samples. Ensure factories are fully briefed on product concept and dealing with daily queries and questions. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard of quality with strong attention to detail.

The Skillset |

Previous production experience in a similar role is essential Must be highly organised and very detail orientated. Strong administration and logistics skills Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills Experience using excel or an ERP system is beneficial Knowledge of garment construction and textile development is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills. The ability to work with in a team and independently. A strong understanding of working with a sense of urgency. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on production progress and address any concerns. Strong ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions on behalf of your team.
