The roleThe Data & Migration Consultant occupies a crucial position, expertly guiding our clients through the intricate process of transitioning their data from legacy systems to the iMIS software platform.

This role is charged with the meticulous design, planning and execution of data migration strategies, ensuring smooth and efficient data transfers and upholding the highest standards of integrity and accessibility.

Beyond data migration, the Data & Migration Consultant will advise on data analytics and governance, crafting and instituting best-practice methodologies.

In collaboration with clients, project managers and development teams, the Data & Migration Consultant will conduct thorough analyses of existing data structures, assess data quality and comprehend business requirements.

With deep-seated expertise in data migration methodologies and best practices, this role is pivotal in pinpointing potential risks, conceiving robust mitigation strategies and steering data migration projects to their successful fruition.

This comprehensive approach ensures the seamless transition of data and fortifies the foundations for data-driven decision-making and governance across the board.

Essential Skills and ExperienceMinimum 3+ experience as a Data Migration Analyst or similar position.
Demonstrated experience in assessing and identifying data migration impacts across other workstreams within a business transformation project.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of data management principles, relational databases (e.g., SQL), data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) tools and data migration methodologies.


Project Management:
Capable of managing the full lifecycle of data migration projects, including scoping, planning, execution and post-migration validation

Data Security:
Knowledge of data protection laws, confidentiality and privacy regulations to ensure compliance during the data migration process.
