Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Project/Account/Client Management

  • Manage clients, projects and relationships making sure that everything is running smoothly and that a strategic view is taken of their business independently for medium sized business, and jointly with the Managing Directors for large businesses
  • Undertake both quantitative and qualitative projects undertaking interviews, running groups, crunching numbers for quant, participating in brainstorming sessions, compiling both qual and quant presentations
  • Troubleshoot issues with suppliers and handle unplanned occurrences with high levels of capability
  • Support those senior to you in the organisation
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key clients and suppliers
Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and pursue them
  • Attend new business meetings and write proposals, with a focus on independent proposal writing for mediumenterprise clients, and working jointly on largeenterprise clients with Managing Directors
  • Responsible for effective and efficient onboarding and integration of new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Assist in development of the business more broadly, cementing an enthusiastic and cando culture along a winning work ethic
Staff & Professional Development

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations
  • Contribute to the professional development of all team members via on the job coaching and development of training materials
  • Keep up to date with industry changes by reading industry newsletters, attending industry update meetings and other relevant activities
Cultural Contribution

  • Contribute towards a dynamic, enthusiastic and supportive team environment.
  • Support the vision and direction set by the Managing Directors

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in managing medium to high calibre clients and accounts
  • At least 6 years commercial experience on the research supplier side, or relevant research related experience on client side
  • Demonstrated creative and lateral thinking capabilities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
