Northern Maritime and Industrial Services (NMIS), a leading engineering company in Darwin, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this senior role, you'll play a key role in supporting our reliability engineering discipline across various projects.

While prior experience in reliability engineering is a plus, we value your ability to learn and adapt quickly within the specific needs of each project.


Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.
Analyse complex technical problems and recommend practical solutions based on sound engineering principles.
Conduct research and stay current with evolving technologies and industry standards in reliability engineering.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and other engineering documentation.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Liaise effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of NMIS's engineering practices and procedures.

The Requirements:
To excel in this role, you'll possess the following qualifications and skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a relevant engineering field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools (e.g., Auto CAD, design analysis software)
Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies
A valid NT Driver's License
Passing a Security check is needed for this position.
