Position Summary:

  • You are always looking ahead to ensure your solution fits in the bigger picture and the longterm strategy.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Primary Skills
  • Amazon Redshift, and AWS.
  • AWS certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • Excellent knowledge/experience in DataStage ETL Technology & Data warehousing.
  • Tertiary qualification in software engineering, computer science, or information technology.
  • 10+ years of IT experience in a large enterprise organisation.
  • Strong SQL background, with capability to write SQL with a performance mindset, troubleshoot performance, mentor and train other staffs.
  • Deep understanding of databases, data storage and data movement tools including how optimize development & approaches aligning to best practices.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services and Cloud based services (including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
  • Previous exposure to the following technologies is highly desirable
  • Database Migration Services (DMS), Redshift, and Amazon DynamoDB.
  • Experience in managing structured and unstructured data types.
  • Experience in data profiling, sourcetarget mappings, ETL development, SQL optimization, Performance tuning, testing, and implementation.
  • Knowledge/work experience in CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins.
  • Experience in requirements engineering, solution architecture, design, and development/deployment.
  • Enable security on the environment and integrate the authentication and authorization as per the organization standards.
  • Improving customer experience though data analytics and sending offer to targeted customers.
  • Maintaining customer data in secured environment.
  • Good customer management.
  • Team player, collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Insurance or Banking domain experience is added advantage.

  • Negotiation: being able to negotiate tradeoffs between nonfunctional requirements.
  • Being able to act as a mature sparring partner with the Solution Architect.
