YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Your responsibilities will include developing new products, implementing marketing strategies, and enhancing brand identity.

You will also offer managerial assistance and oversight for various category activities, ensuring they align with the company's expansion goals.

As a Category Manager, your role will play a crucial part in:

  • Directing product sourcing strategies and overseeing imports to enhance our product range.
  • Engaging in negotiations that strengthen relationships and boost company profitability and value.
  • Collaborating across different functions to align sales, supply chain, quality, and customer service teams with category strategies.

ABOUT YOU

You should also possess:

  • Experience in product sourcing and imports is advantageous.
  • Proven negotiation skills and a history of building profitable relationships.
  • Strong numerical skills and business acumen.
  • Evidence of effective collaboration across different functions, particularly Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Services.
  • Customer-centric approach with expertise in impactful presentations.
  • Background in marketing, including sales, marketing strategies, and campaign development.
  • Preferred experience in brand strategy and executing marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills adaptable to various organizational levels internally and externally, showcasing influential abilities.
  • Capable of nurturing strong relationships and garnering respect from suppliers, colleagues, and senior management while balancing stakeholder needs.
  • Desirable bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Highly organized and driven by results, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Outstanding planning abilities and market awareness.
