As the Head of Community Development in the Virtual Adviser Network, you will lead the team responsible for:

  • Our community member experience from onboarding to offboarding, including member communications, Workplace group management, legal/contracts, invoicing, member feedback
  • Running our community events including our conferences, workshops and webinars
  • Our ancillary programs including end client survey program (Propensity), other data and benchmarking programs, the Virtual Adviser Network Expert Panel, the Global Innovation Program (US study tour) and related activities, such as vendor management
  • Liaising with Banking and Financial Services Marketing and Strategic Accounts Teams on injecting VAN insights into the relevant external market activities, including managing our Knowledge Library, collateral look and feel, quality control etc
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure relevance, timeliness, and coordination of our Virtual Adviser Network programs, especially around marketing, insights delivery and recruitment
  • Nurture a high performing team to learn, develop and live their values
  • Drive the next stage of development of our programs to help Virtual Adviser Network achieve its winning aspiration
  • Build strong relationships with the leaders of some of the industry's most important business and in turn have a significant impact on their trajectory
  • Grow the recognition of the Virtual Adviser Network programs and the quality of our insights and have a strong presence in the market
  • Become an integral part of Macquarie's Wealth Solutions team and its inmarket proposition and positioning

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an influential leader with strong mentoring and coaching skills
  • Can communicate to an engaged but busy community with powerful messages that have impact
  • Naturally has a strategic mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Has exposure to events management, vendor management and data analytics
  • With great stakeholder management and personal relationship management skills
  • Is a good risk manager and is committed to operational excellence
