We are working with a well-established and renowned residential construction firm that has successfully built a legacy in the home-building industry. They are known for their dedication to personalised design, creating homes that perfectly fit the land and the homeowner's unique identity. With a strong emphasis on affordability, their offerings primarily focus on family homes, complete with comprehensive housing packages with a spectrum of premium inclusions. Over the years, they have forged strategic partnerships with financial institutions and brokers, facilitating tailored finance solutions for aspiring homeowners. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for a new Sales Manager to lead a small and very committed sales team.

About You
You will be an experienced and driven salesperson with a proven background driving relationships and business growth. You are adept at effectively managing long sales cycles through a personalized and high contact customer service strategy. You will be a natural coach and mentor used to working in a competitive sales environment, ideally possessing previous leadership exposure. Ideally you bring an understanding of the new build, housing market or at least have a curiosity and passion to learn this sector. For the right leader the industry and sector can be taught. You have great energy, are driven to elevate the performance of those around you and are willing to challenge the status quo. Your negotiation skills are strong, and you desire to learn and teach in equal measures.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sales Team Management: Supervise the day-to-day operations of the sales team, achieve collective sales team targets, provide advice to the sales team members on practical aspects of home design, block suitability, environmental considerations, and assist in the delivery of training to the team.
  • Business Development: Work proactively with land developers to create opportunities for house and land sales outside of our clients owned estates, creating and maintaining relationships with real estate agents, property developers, and other relevant parties to create new channels for home sales.
  • Product Development: Assist in the development of product offerings, including new home designs, new service offerings, and other new revenue opportunities.
