The AI Risk Specialist Manager is key to enabling Suncorp's AI enabled transformation, by oversighting the safe and ethical delivery of AI initiatives in alignment with Suncorp's Data Ethics Commitments.


Key Accountabilities:
Oversight the implementation of AI initiatives within Suncorp's AI Enabled Transformation Roadmap.
Advise on AI-specific risks in line with Suncorp's Data Ethics Commitments.
Advise, review, and challenge the design and implementation of AI-specific controls.

Continuous improvement of Suncorp's AI governance and risk approach Provide AI subject matter expertise to enhance AI capability across the broader 1 LOD and 2 LOD risk community.

Report AI risk and control insights to senior management and Board committees.

Skills and experience:
Qualifications (indicate whether mandatory or desired)Tertiary qualifications in technology, business, commerce, risk, or finance (mandatory).
Seven-plus years of relevant assurance/risk management experience.
Experience with AI, cyber security, technology risk and/or model governance.
Professional services experience advantageous.
Strong knowledge of AI, technology and/or cyber security risk and controls.
Understanding of governance and risk management in financial services environments.
