About the role
We are seeking a Workforce Planning Consultantto join our growing team in a newly created role.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a CAHS-wide Strategic Workforce Plan Workforce and the implementation of associated organisational development initiatives.

At the heart of our Enterprise-level Workforce Planningapproach is the creation of a holistic workforce plan that addresses current and future needs, identifies capability and capacity gaps and implements targeted interventions to enhance talent strategies and mitigate risks.

Reporting to the Principal Consultant, Strategic Workforce and Talent Planning, you will leverage your skills in data mining and analysis to gather metrics and complete regular workforce reporting.

You will translate data insights into executive-level papers and actionable recommendations to support the achievement of both short- and long-term operational and strategic objectives.

In addition, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify workforce risks and conduct complex analyses workforce supply, demand, and performance measures and projected staffing needs, including macro forces influencing the CAHS workforce.


Key responsibilities will include:


Providing advice to departmental staff, health services, and external agencies on workforce information analysis and interpretation, including compilation of data for research projects and to support recommendations for business improvements.

Consulting with stakeholders to identify their information and business needs, and developing strategies to meet those needs, and facilitating workshops as required and engaging with stakeholders to drive change.

Assisting in the preparation of reports by retrieving relevant data from information systems while maintaining integrity and security all project data and resource documents.

Enhancing and documenting methodologies for collecting, analysing, and disseminating workforce data insights.

The successful applicant will have prior experience in strategic workforce planning and a keen eye for data analysis and interpretation.
