About the Role

As the Payroll Manager, you'll lead the overall Payroll function reporting into the Financial Controller. In this role you will also have the opportunity to make continuous improvements and be involved in all Payroll decision making.

Duties:

  • Manage the overall end to end payroll function for just over 100 employees on a monthly and fortnightly basis.
  • Manage software systems - Payroll and T&A
  • Ensure governance and compliance practices are controlled and minimised
  • Maintaining the highest degree of quality with regards to policies and procedures
  • Liaising with stakeholders & executive team members and present reporting regarding payroll
  • Lead process improvement including suggesting new processes to Senior Management

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record and managing and end to end payroll function
  • Knowledge regarding modern awards and previous experience using the General Retail Award
  • Previous experience in driving service delivery
  • Proven experience in meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Outstanding communication skills
