**The Role**

We are seeking a motivated HR professional to join the Feathers team on a permanent part-time basis, to look after the human resources needs of the company.

Feathers currently employs more than 45 team members and operates 10 retail outlets, including 5 Feathers Boutiques and 5 David Jones concession stores, as well as Head Office operations.

Feathers retail outlets are Melbourne based, with one interstate location and plans for further expansion.

The Human Resources Coordinator oversees all human resources activity including:

- Recruiting and onboarding
- Team induction, orientation and training
- Rostering
- Payroll management
- Ongoing assessment of staffing requirements
- Employee performance management
- Implementation of current retail award and legislation
- Supporting and working within stores when required
- Point of contact and resource for all Team Member HR issues and requirements as necessary

**Required Skills**:

- Proven HR experience
- HR qualifications
- Knowledge of current HR policies and procedures
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to positively engage with Team Members on a daily basis
- Ability to provide ongoing training, advice and support to Team Members
- Team player with a desire to achieve personal and company goals and objectives

**Desired Skills**
- Retail industry experience and understanding of the multi-store retail environment and human resources requirements
- Experience using team rostering software
- Experience using payroll software

Part-time hours: 30.4 per week

**Salary**: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
