The Test Manager role is Accountable to the program /delivery manager for the successful delivery of testing activities in SAFe Agile Methodology.

You will be responsible for E2E test strategy, test approach, test plans, test cases, test execution, defect management and on-time delivery of test activities for User Acceptance Test and Business Readiness Test.

The day to day

  • Provide overall test governance for the development program, including overseeing EB test teams and vendors to ensure tasks are completed on time and quality is maintained.
  • Provide guidance to the program/delivery manager or others in the teams on the processes required to gain organisational acceptance of the program's solution.
  • Stay abreast of testing methodologies, technologies, approaches and ensure that appropriate testing is utilized on EB's development programs.
  • Participating in PI sessions, Daily Stand Ups and Sprint/Iteration Planning sessions.
  • Writing user stories with estimates for UAT & BRT
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders throughout Test Planning, Test Preparation, Test Execution and Reporting phases.
  • Facilitate UAT and E2E BRT with the operational users ensuring that functionality is as required by the customers.
  • Lead Defect Triage meetings to ensure quick communication and resolution of critical defects to facilitate product launch.
  • Schedule and coordinate testing in a time efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Ensure documents and deliverables (eg test strategy, test plans, test cases, test setup for UAT and BRT, test execution, test reports) required to support program / initiative need are completed on time and are of good quality.
  • Proactively identify and address risks, issues and dependencies related to testing activities, work closely with delivery managers and other stakeholders to mitigate potential impacts.

  • Significant experience in Telecom / IT and Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Extensive experience in business and technical driven projects with test planning and execution leading to operational readiness.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of large complex projects.
  • Able to lead multiple complex programs simultaneously.
  • IT or related tertiary qualification.
  • ISTQB/ISEB certification.
