About the Role:

Bedford Services and Advisory (BSA) are growing.

Due to a recent acquisition of another business, a full time HR Advisor role has been created (along with a HRBP position).

This hands-on HR Advisor role works closely with a team of 3 HR Business Partners, HR Advisor and the HR Manager to provide support across the employee lifecycle, while the team focuses on organisational change and transformation, and will also have some focus on recruitment activities.

The role is offered initially on a 12-month fixed term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice across the employee lifecycle to allocated business units
  • Support HRBPs with performance management and corresponding documentation
  • Support HR Manager with HR process projects
  • Assist with staff enquiries
  • Support Recruitment activities for business units

About You:


You may already be working as HR Advisor and looking to step into a larger, growing organisation, or be an experienced HR Coordinator currently working in a large business looking for the next step in your career, or a graduate with some experience in the industry.

You will be able to adapt easily to a fast-paced role, and be eager to learn and develop your skills within HR.


Other skills and qualities:

  • Qualification in Business, Human Resources, or Psychology, or working towards a qualification with experience
  • Minimum 23 years' experience working in HR field
  • Intermediate to advanced skills and experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative and resilient
  • Eager to learn and develop Exceptional organisational and time management
For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.

  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
  • Driver's licence (some travel between sites may be required)
  • NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
