I am assisting a federal government department in looking for an APS3 Participant Support Officer. The position includes administrative and customer service elements.

- Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks.
- Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help
kiosks and online support.
- Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate
government or community services.
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are
accessible for participants.
- Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and
correspondence.
- Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
- Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the appropriate business systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with a disability, excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and organisational skills along with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bundaberg Office (Woongarra Street)
- Full time (Part time not available)
- Initial 8 month contract, highly likely to be extended
- $37.36 per hour plus 11% Super
- No WFH options available unfortunately as this is a customer facing role

- You MUST be an Australian Citizen. Those that are NZ Citizens or currently in the process of applying for Australian Citizenship are NOT eligible to apply and I am unable to represent you for this position.
- Closing date for this position is Friday 22nd March at 11am. Late applications will not be accepted.
- If successful for this position you will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check and obtain an NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- This is a contract position, you are paid a casual loading instead of accruing annual and sick leave.
