Position Overview:
The Order Management Specialist reviews and resolves many different types of client requests utilizing multiple Zones systems. This position interacts with clients indirectly via email, electronic portals and most importantly through quick work performance of standardized client requests. Client requests include order status, order modifications, freight upgrades, returns, quoting new business and more, and this position will complete the final resolution of these issues and report their work to the client upon completion. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations.
What you'll do as the Order Management Specialist:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Learn and master the different client request types (quoting, order status, returns, etc.)
- Effective use of Zones systems: ServiceNow, Microsoft CRM and Dynamics
- Resolve issues within client service level agreement timeliness
- Proactively identify and help implement enhancements to order management processes and tools
- Develop internal relationships to improve Zones' performance for clients
We are seeking candidates with the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years Order Management, Customer Service or Data Entry experience
- Familiarity with order fulfillment, corporate purchasing
- Attention to detail and accurate results
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in handling a high volume of inbound inquires
- "5-Star" customer focus
Qualified candidates can expect an hourly range of $25.00 - $29.00.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
