Accounts OfficerThe company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join their fresh and multicultural team. They foster a supportive environment that encourages internal growth and professional development. Responsibilities: Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage day-to-day processing of accounts payable and receivable using our financial management information system. Invoice Processing: Create and process invoices accurately and efficiently. Accuracy Checks: Cross-check invoices with payments and expenses to ensure precision. Debtor Records: Monitor and maintain debtor records, accounts, and statements. Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations. Intercompany Loan Accounts: Maintain intercompany loan accounts. Administrative Support: Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team. Account Queries: Handle general account queries promptly and professionally. Skills and Experience: Experience:1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or receivables. Administrative Background: At least two years of experience in an administrative and/or accounting environment. Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures, particularly related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. Software Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Xero Expertise: High-level working knowledge and experience of Xero or an equivalent accounting software. Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team as well as autonomously.
