What does the job look like?

Linfox is looking for a Fleet Controller to join our team based in Chullora on a Permanent Full-time basis. As part of this role you are primarily responsible for coordinating vehicle operations for the pickup and delivery of customer product in line with expectations. The role is accountable for bookings and paperwork to enable these deliveries. The role is also a support to the general operational and administrative requirements of the branch, including updating and managing TMS and production of KPI data. You will be working Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm. Key areas:

Develop and maintain the most efficient fleet solutions for Linfox and its customers that meet or exceed commercial and operational imperativesCommunicate with drivers to ensure that all work is completed for the day in line with customer expectations & safety/compliance guidelinesEscalating any service or safety incident to Supervisor on shiftDevelop utilisation and deployment plans that reflect real time fleet capability.Update KPI dashboards communicated to key stake holders within the Linfox business.Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customersCoordinate the maintenance schedule to ensure maximum fleet utilisation and minimum disruption to operations.

Previous experience in scheduling/allocating within transport/logistics (highly desirable)SAP system experience (desirable)Knowledge of rail, road and coastal transport operations including administration processesExcellent communication skills - written & verbalStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask
